Chamberlain Professional Products announces the introduction of its Elite™ model EL25 with the most adaptable, configurable and flexible options available for the telephone entry and access control system market.
The Elite™ EL25 is the ideal telephone entry system for a multitude of applications including single family residential, multi-tenant apartment buildings, gated communities and light-duty commercial sites. The system offers 25 directory codes and features 250, three to nine digit access codes. The Elite™ EL25 is also capable of retaining an event record of up to 1,000 transactions. The system is equipped with four controllable relays programmable to accommodate several configurations of door strikes, alarm shunts, CCTV and “control” relays.
Additional features include a built-in non-volatile memory that will retain database information in the event power is cut off from the unit. With this feature, start-up and operation is immediate when power is restored. The automatic calendar adjusts for seasonal and annual time changes to avoid continual programming adjustments. The unit is also capable of holiday scheduling and can be configured to automatically open or lock at set time periods. The system is designed with an auto sensor input feature to automate lights, CCTV, strikes and alarm shunts when triggered.
Consumers will be impressed with the discreet “Do Not Disturb” and “Call Forwarding” capabilities, as well as the programming options that allow for keypad programming modes for both the novice and advanced users. The Do Not Disturb and Call Forwarding options can be enabled on a per tenant basis. This feature is exclusive to the EL25. Both options are supported by easy to understand program manuals and Versa XS™ software.
“The new Elite™ EL25 brings a significant new level of flexibility for installers and customers,” said Randall Planck, Marketing Manager, Telephone Entry Systems and Access Control. “This system is designed to offer one of the best values on the market today for telephone entry system customers. In addition, the modular design of the Elite™ EL25 is so versatile, that dealers will be able to create and sell custom configured units from standard stock units with the addition of Wiegand and RF Modules for a build as you go approach.”
The EL25 is built for simple installation and field maintenance. It is equipped with Chamberlain’s distinctive swing hinge design that allows for easy mounting and for connecting wiring quickly to the motherboard without having to hold the casting in place. The system meets UL294 requirements and FCC Part 15.
A unique cast zinc alloy housing with a stylish, yet durable powder coat finish withstands harsh weather conditions and corrosion while maintaining a near “brand new” appearance for years. The EL25 is available in three classic finishes designed to blend well with existing architectural appointments–EL25S (silver), EL25G (gray) and EL25N (nickel)–and easily transforms from landscape to portrait orientation to fit various customer requirements.
