LiftMaster has engineered the new, UL-approved, DC-powered LiftMaster Elite Series RSL (slide) model and the RSW (swing) models to be powerful, yet efficient, and ideal for customers seeking maximum cycles in battery backup mode, or who desire solar power.
Driven by the LiftMaster 12V DC EverCharge® Power Management System (EMPS), the newest additions to the LiftMaster family of residential slide and swing gate operators are leaders in energy efficiency, as the system works to maximize cycles on battery back-up while also monitoring the system to never overcharge batteries or cycle batteries beyond their threshold, eliminating potential damage to the batteries that could prevent them from recharging properly.

In addition to smooth performance and reliability, the Elite Series RSL and RSW models include a superior feature set. To enhance dependable, integrated operation on the property, the on-board 315 MHz receiver serves as a single solution for gates and additional access points since it allows for 50 Security+ remote controls to be added to the system. In addition, both models are compatible with LiftMaster access controls as well as a broad range of accessories, ensuring integrated and seamless performance throughout the customer's entire property. Synonymous with the safety and security
measures LiftMaster is known for, these gate operators also come standard with safety sensors and reversing edges.
The EMPS system offers three convenient wiring options – AC powered directly to the operator; connected to a remote AC power source up to 500 feet away using low voltage wire; or run on solar power via an optional, energy-efficient solar panel. In a solar powered application, the EMPS maximizes solar efficiency by delivering power only when it is required to operate the gate, conserving energy when not in use.
For dual gate applications, on the RSL model, dealers have the ability to synchronize gate closures. This patent-pending feature monitors the position and speed of each gate and if any changes are detected the RSL will automatically adjust the speed to ensure that the primary gate closes last. As an added bonus for the installer, the RSL model also features manual disconnect that doesn't require the removal of the chain drive, allowing for manual operation in case of emergencies and during routine maintenance work. Once the RSL gate operator is reengaged, it retains all of its previous settings, without having to reset open and close limits, providing reliable
performance for dealers in the field.
