Solidifying its reputation as a household name in garage door openers, LiftMaster®, the number one brand of professionally installed residential and commercial garage door openers and access solutions in the world, was recently named the top brand of residential garage door openers by Builder magazine. In the publication's 2012 Brand Use Study, LiftMaster swept all categories to take first place honors.

Conducted to gauge awareness and quality among the country's most used building product categories, the Brand Use Study examined garage door opener brands as well as 80 other product categories. Builder readers rated garage door openers in four areas: Brand Familiarity, Brands Used in the Past Two Years, Brands Used the Most, and Quality. LiftMaster received the highest ratings in all four categories, an honor that LiftMaster's team of dealers can use to grow their own businesses.

Sweeping number one honors across all four areas, LiftMaster joins an elite group of companies with the same achievement in their respective product categories, including Kohler, Bose, CertainTeed and Owens Corning, further supporting LiftMaster's claim as the country's number one brand of garage door openers.

Published for America's residential builders, Builder boasts a readership of 114,000 building professionals. Reaching one of LiftMaster's key influencer groups, the results of the 2012 Brand Use Study will help cement LiftMaster's position in the minds of builders and potential customers nationwide.
